Tuesday, August 14th.
Minneapolis to Reykyavik, Iceland
to Oslo
to Bardufoss
and finally to Rossfjord.
We arrived safe but not so sound after 12 hours of sitting in too cramped of flights and 6 hours of lay-over in the Oslo Airport. The kids were incredible, but Mamma's patience paved the way for things to go as well as they did. She is the best.
After the long day (what really functioned as 24 hours of travel, considering the time changes) all we managed when we arrived in Rossfjord was a much needed shower and good "kveldsmat" (light evening meal) and then it was straight to bed.
Wednesday, August 15.
The kids crashed hard last night. Except for me, the whole house slept until 11:00 AM. The day was spent on the trampoline, picking strawberries and carrots, and walking on the "beach" formed by low tide of the ocean. If you so desire, you can see a few pictures on our web-album here.
